Avalanche Gates

Due to the high elevation and severe winter conditions of the Duffy Mountain Pass, avalanche gates are required on both sides of the highway to allow for immediate road closures during periods of high avalanche risk. Whistler Welding was contracted to fabricate and install these heavy-duty, high-strength avalanche gates, designed to withstand extreme mountain conditions while ensuring public safety and reliable operation.
