On the surface, Whistler Welding is a welding and structural steel company. But after more than 30 years in the Sea to Sky, we’ve built a business around a lot more than steel.
We’ve built our reputation by doing quality work, showing up when we say we will, meeting the standards we work to, and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, suppliers and trade partners.
Our team is a big part of that. Many of our employees have been with us for 20 years or more, bringing years of experience and knowledge to every project. At the same time, we’re training the next generation and passing that knowledge on.
We use new technology and equipment where it makes sense, while staying grounded in the practical skills and traditional practices that have always been at the core of our trade. We understand what it takes to deliver a project properly — from the first drawing through to fabrication and installation.
We’re proud of the reputation we’ve built over 35+ years. It comes from experienced people, dependable work, long-standing relationships and consistently delivering what we say we will.
From the Archives: Construction of our Fabrication Shop in Pemberton, BC.
Since our establishment 35+ years ago alongside Whistler’s Alta Lake, our company has grown from a staff of 2, to a talented group of 20+, made up of a Team of Project Managers, Fabricators, Installers, and Support Staff.
Our Head Office, located in the Pemberton Business Park, includes a fully equipped 5,000 square foot fabrication plant, as well as a 5-ton Bridge crane, three mobile trucks, a four-wheel-drive 6,000-pound telescopic forklift, a 60’ JLG man lift, and all associated tools. We have a complete 3D drafting and engineering facility at our disposal for any detailing and design needs, and we are very well networked with Lower Mainland suppliers and all related service providers.

We have worked on thousands of projects in the past thirty years, from large scale projects such as suspension bridges and convention centres, to custom residential handrails and staircases.
